One of the most recent projects we have completed, is a complete
home integration project. Domus integrated home automation
control devices used for energy management and comfort control
in the home. Products include HVAC zone controls, motorized
dampers, pool and spa controls, communicating thermostats
and digital relay panels.
- Allows homeowners complete control of security, energy,
and lighting at the touch of a button.
- Accessible from within the home or remotely via touch-tone
telephones or Internet connections, allowing the homeowner
to manage energy usage from anywhere.
- Settings can be adjusted based on day and time, as well
as the security status of the house.
High efficiency air filtration also benefited from automation,
which operates as a run time accumulator and alerts the user
when cleaning or servicing is needed. Humidifiers can easily
be automated, since inside humidity levels can be raised as
outdoor temperature rises. In the winter, the more humidity
in the air, the better, but damaging condensation can accumulate
on windows as outdoor temperature drops. A “smart”
HVAC control system was installed, monitoring inside humidity
and outside temperature, and controlling a single relay output,
automatically changes humidity levels for maximum comfort,
while avoiding moisture problems.
